Aruba Ostrich Farm

Meeting one of the largest prehistoric-like birds in the world isn’t usually what springs to mind when you think of Aruba.

Yet ostriches find a perfect home in Aruba's rugged landscape. A flock of approximately 80 of the largest living species in the world are seriously waiting to meet you at the Aruba Ostrich Farm.

The excitement only mounts after meeting these enormous birds and letting them eat off the top of your head with their huge powerful beaks. These big birds also lay the largest eggs in the world and, if available during your visit, you get to feel and weigh them yourself.

The tour provides the opportunity to learn about the natural behaviour and survival instincts of these amazing creatures through detailed information, as well as in personal encounters with the birds. Before or after the tour, guests are welcomed to peruse the African Art Shop, chock-full of authentic goods from South Africa.
