Café The Plaza has a large patio area and overlooks a plaza that is great fun. The extensive menu has something for everyone, from snacks, breakfast and lunch to a superb evening meal.
Being a Dutch-style café, you will find typical Dutch dishes on the menu as well as seasonal specialities, such as “Hollandse Nieuwe”, the new catch of fresh Dutch herring, “Zeeuwse mosselen”, cooked Dutch mussels and off course the popular bar snack, “bitterballen”.
We offer live music performances that can be enjoyed from our spacious terrace. This popular café in Dutch style also organises weekly quiz nights, events and fun festivities such as the pole sitting championships and festivities during international football matches and on King’s Day.
You will find Café The Plaza on the seafront side of Renaissance Marketplace, next to a large square and ample (free) parking area in Oranjestad.
