Aruba Weather and Climate

Aruba’s balmy weather, paired with caressing trade winds, couldn’t be more consistent, promising you a sunny holiday.

Aruba's Weather

Aruba is blessed with clear skies, bright sunshine (more sunny days than any other island!) and cooling trade winds, practically every day of the year. Except for a few scattered annual weather events and some brief showers on some days (very welcomed by our tropical plants!), the sun does indeed always shine here! Aruba's wonderful weather is one of the many reasons for the island’s highest return-visitor rate in the Caribbean.

On average, Aruba receives only 16 inches of rain each year, with the greatest likelihood of precipitation between October and January. Average temperatures are in the low 80s all year round, with higher numbers recorded between May and October and lower temperatures between December and March.

Aruba is known for its refreshing trade winds blowing from the northeast and southeast, peaking at mid day. Aruba lies on the southern fringe of the hurricane belt, with little possibility of a direct hit.

Perhaps you can already feel the warming rays of the sun, the soft sand between your toes and the cooling Caribbean breeze on your skin. Sounds like paradise, doesn’t it?

The weather in Aruba is one of the many reasons for the island’s highest return-visitor rate in the Caribbean.

The best thing about the Aruban weather is that you don’t even have to think of it when making plans. If the Aruban weather forecast says it’s going to rain, it’s very likely that it will be a 5-minute shower. No need to cancel that picnic on the beach!

The weather in Aruba is pretty consistent all year round, but there are some slight differences in temperature and precipitation in Aruba from month to month.
