Testing before your return flight

Travellers to Aruba are no longer required to purchase the Aruba Visitors Insurance. However, it is optional and if you would like to purchase the policy, you can do so here.

We highly recommend each traveller to have travel insurance including COVID-19 coverage.

Please note that all travelers will still be required to complete Aruba’s Embarkation/Disembarkation Card prior to arrival, which is the country’s digitised customs and immigration process.

As part of their pandemic travel protocols, some countries/states/cities require travellers to show a negative COVID-19 test result to be granted re-entry.

Aruba has ample testing facilities, with some even located conveniently at different hotels or within walking distance.

For a list of all the COVID-19 testing facilities in Aruba, see our Covid-19 Testing Facilities page.

Check-in for your return flight

As per Tuesday September 13th, 2022, Passengers should be at the airport 3 hours before departure for U.S. flights and 2 hours before departure for non U.S. flights.

Passengers should double-check their departure times and coordinate with their hotels, tour operators, and transportation companies in order to ensure that they will arrive at the right time.

It is important to note, that if a flight is delayed, passengers are still required to come to the airport for check-in based on their scheduled departure time.
