About

Educate yourself and experience first hand how the healing miracle plant aloe became Aruba's number one export product.

Back in 1840, the aloe vera wonder plant was introduced to Aruba. Soon, two-thirds of Aruba's surface was covered with aloe vera plants and Aruba became the world's largest aloe exporter.

The first aloe vera plants were planted on 150 acres of land at the Hato plantation, which is still used today to grow the aloe for all Aruban aloe products. You can visit the aloe plantation, along with our aloe museum and factory, during daily guided tours.

Our tour guides will explain you all about the aloe plant and its uses. At the museum, you will have the chance of learning all about the 160-year-old history of aloe vera in. the museum is a national depository for historic aloe tools and equipment, with a complete library on the history, manufacture and properties of aloe vera.

All Aruba Aloe body, sun and hair care products can be purchased at our factory store.
