Chiamate tutti gli artisti e gli appassionati d'arte! L'Aruba Art Fair si sta preparando per la sua terza edizione quest'anno.

L'evento molto atteso è programmato per il 5 ottobre e durerà fino al 7 ottobre.

Fiera d'arte

In fiera ci saranno numerose mostre d'arte. Ci sarà inoltre buon cibo locale da degustare mentre vi divertirete con le varie discipline artistiche come musica dal vivo, danza, poesia e persino moda. La cosa che rimane più impressa nella mente dei turisti è la sorprendente street art che decora la città di San Nicolas. 

Agostino Loro, Jorit Chi has Dutch origins but consider Naples its absolute city. His name “Agoch” is known from Africa to the United States. He specialized in human faces, all represented with scars that stand out on those more realistic traits than ever scars, that for the artist are a symbol of that “humanity”, that unites his subjects. The story of Bertha, hand painted on the wall with spray is found at the Piet Heinstraat – Bernhardstraat. Bertha, Isabel’s mother was murdered in March 2016. “I fight and fight again, in my mother’s name.” Bertha Isabel Zúniga Cáceres, belongs to a family of luchadores. Women who struggle to safeguard their land, Honduras, and its natural resources. Bertha holds rallies, she fights for the protection of the rights of the Lycian people, threatened by the works of the multinationals and harassed for years by the death squads. Bertha, is a warrior princess and lives forever now on this wall telling her story so people will continue fighting for equality, for justice and above all for the abandoned children all over the world.

Userei solo una parola per descrivere l'Aruba Art Fair: "meravigliosa". Durante le due edizioni precedenti era notevole l'apprezzamento da parte dei partecipanti e dei locali, anche in merito all'abbellimento della città di San Nicolas. 

San Nicolas

Non c'è posto migliore per ospitare un evento culturale come questo. San Nicolas, conosciuta anche come Sunrise City, è la capitale culturale di Aruba. La città contiene molte informazioni sul nostro passato, sul nostro patrimonio e sulle nostre industrie.

Mentre siete in giro per la città, non dimenticatevi di visitare il Museo della Comunità che ha riaperto il 27 settembre 2018. Qui scoprirai le diverse identità della nostra gente, le nostre usanze e molto altro. A pochi passi si trova il Museum of Industry, situato all'interno della nostra storica Water Tower. Sarete sorpresi della variegata storia industriale di Aruba!

A Grand Premiere

Un cortometraggio molto speciale sarà presentato in anteprima durante l'Aruba Art Fair di quest'anno. Si chiama "Otro Bista", dal creatore locale Mario Gonsalves in collaborazione con l'Autorità Turistica di Aruba. Otro Bista è una frase in papiamento, la nostrea lingua ufficiale, con la quale si intende ''una diversa prospettiva''. Il cortometraggio mostrerà la varietà della cultura di Aruba. Le persone coinvolte nella realizzazione di questo cortometraggio sperano di infondere l'orgoglio nella nostra comunità facendo uso di ricche e spettacolari immagini.
