Café The Plaza is the perfect location to enjoy meals, drinks, relax or to have a swinging night out during the weekend.

Café The Plaza has a large patio area and overlooks a plaza that is great fun. The extensive menu has something for everyone, from snacks, breakfast and lunch to a superb evening meal.

Being a Dutch-style café, you will find typical Dutch food items on the menu as well as seasonal specialties like 'Hollandse Nieuwe', the new catch of fresh Dutch herring, 'Zeeuwse mosselen', cooked Dutch mussels and off course popular bar snack 'bitterballen'.

We offer live music performances that can be enjoyed from our spacious terrace. This popular cafe in Dutch style also organizes weekly quiz nights, events and fun festivities such as the pole sitting championships, and festivities during international soccer games and o King’s Day.

You will find Café The Plaza on the ocean-front side of Renaissance Marketplace adjacent to an oversized plaza and ample (free) parking space, in downtown Oranjestad.
