One happy history

The story of Aruba is told on the faces of our diverse and friendly people. In the artwork on the walls of San Nicolas; atop the weather-worn patina on the homes of our southern coastal towns; and in the ringing of the steel drums that mark the beginnings of our Bonbini festival.

The rich and diverse history of our island and its people creates the happy and authentic melting pot you see today. An island of pastel-lined streets to explore, homecooked delicacies to savor, calypso music to dance to, and 100,000 welcoming people to chat with.
