The female associates of Aruba Marriott and The Ritz-Carlton, Aruba were invited to attend a special curated event called ‘Stand Strong, Stand Tall’.
In honor of International Woman’s Day 2018, the event was held in the beautifully decorated Grand Ballroom and consisted of a delicious luncheon followed by a seminar with keynote speakers Mrs. Evelyne Wever-Croes – Aruba’s Minister President, Mrs. Enrita Werleman – Social Worker, Co-Founder of Mary Joan Foundation and Founder of BOB, Ms. Alejandra Vallejo – Health Physician and the presenter was Ms. Rosabelle Illes. Each keynote speaker gave tips and recommendations to the female associates about managing a successful career, maintaining a healthy and balanced lifestyle, doing breast self-exams, the symptoms of breast cancer as well as providing preventive measures for breast cancer.
Aruba Marriott organized this moving event as part of Marriott International’s efforts to celebrate achievements toward gender equality and women’s empowerment around the world and at the same time to raise awareness of issues that uplift women globally.
