Aruba readies itself for return to Beach Tennis Tour
The Aruba Beach Tennis Open 2016 returns to the ITF Beach Tennis Tour this November, with the world’s top players set to head to the Caribbean on 18-20 November to compete at one of the biggest events of the year.
Offering $35,000 in prize money, the event in this island paradise just off the northern tip of Venezuela is second only to the Kazan World Grand Prix in terms of the financial rewards on offer. The event will offer hospitaltiy to the top four men's and women's team on the Acceptance Lists.
The tournament promises to be a real festival of beach tennis, with the finals of the Pan American Championships scheduled on the Sunday before the main event, and single, mixed and other non offical events throughout the week leading up to the elite-level competition.
In addition to this, three junior events will be staged in the categories of 12 and under, 14 and under and 16 and under. This will be an excellent opportunity for the younger generations to shine in front of their idols.
The registrations are already open and you can find more details about the event in their official website.
