Celebrate Flag & Anthem Day with Aruba Aloe & Bon Jabon

Celebrate Flag & Anthem Day with Aruba Aloe & Bon Jabon

Since 1890, Aruba Aloe has been continuing Aruba's age-old tradition of Aloe cultivation.  Today, its state-of-the-art factory turns out some of the world's best Aloe-based health and beauty products, but despite its successful evolution, the company stays faithful to its traditional island roots, still harvesting the 100% pure Aloe vera gel it uses for its products from the 125-year-old Aloe fields surrounding its factory facility.

This March 18, Aruba Aloe invites the entire community to celebrate the island's rich Aloe tradition and culture at its Flag and Anthem Day Celebration from 8 am to 3 pm.  The celebration will take place at Aruba Aloe's factory and museum facility in Hato.  Free guided tours of the factory and museum will be conducted throughout the day.  The tour of the museum highlights the history of Aloe cultivation on Aruba, while the factory tour takes visitors through the entire manufacturing process, from the hand-cutting of the Aloe leaves to the packaging of the final products.

During the celebration, special Aloe smoothies will be given out and Aruban music will entertain guests.  Also, guests who make a purchase of only AWG 20,- or more will receive a free Fruity Soap from the new Bon Jabon brand.  This promotion will be honored at the factory's flagship store and all Aruba Aloe stores that are open March 18 (all stores except the Main Street store and the Bon Jabon store).

Bon Jabon is Aruba Aloe's new soap brand, offering a wide variety of handmade bar soaps, liquid soaps, sugar scrubs, and bath salts.  Visiting the Bon Jabon store is an experience—visitors are invited to try any of the products at the two in-store sinks.  The store is located on the same premises as the Bon Jabon factory, where all the products are made.  A glass wall in the store enables visitors to watch the factory employees at work making the soap products. The Bon Jabon factory building is located on Main Street across from Bon Bini Bazaar and also houses Aruba Aloe's Main Street retail store.

Aruba Aloe welcomes the community to make the celebration at its factory and museum part of their Flag and Anthem Day festivities.  Marketing manager Jessica Posner shares, “Aruba Aloe is proud to celebrate Flag and Anthem Day, and we invite everyone to stop by, even if it's just for a refreshing Aloe smoothie!”
