Grouper, Shrimp and Lobster are the Specials at Fishes & More

When you are a fish lover you are lucky this month, because Fishes & More Restaurant in the Arawak Garden is offering great specials on the creatures in the ocean. Arawak Garden can be found across from the Barceló Resort on the hi-rise strip. The restaurant is nestled between several other wonderful and popular restaurants and there is live music every evening of the week.

Back to Fishes & More’s August Specials. These start with Shrimp Parmesan as appetizer and for your main course you can choose between Grouper La Perla Negra, locally caught grouper with a black olive-tomato pesto tapenade with mozzarella cheese, Shrimp from the Underworld, eight sautéed shrimps and mussels with grilled artichoke, sweet pea beans and red onions, served with a sriracha tomato sauce. Your third choice is Deep Hunter Caribbean Lobster, an 8 oz rock lobster and shrimps, sautéed in garlic butter and served with cherry tomatoes and leeks in a lobster sauce over linguine.

The two wines of the month are both from Australia: the 19 Crimes Red Blend, with hints of dark chocolate and vanilla with dark fruit overtones and 19 Crimes Hard Cahrdonnay, with its criminally intense toasty oak notes overlaid with ripe fruit, butterscotch and honey.
