Loyal and friendly visitor honored as Goodwill Ambassadors at Amsterdam Manor
Recently, Darline S. de Cuba had the great pleasure to honor loyal and friendly visitors of Aruba as Goodwill Ambassadors.
The symbolic honorary title is presented on behalf of the Minister of Tourism, as a token of appreciation to the guests who visit Aruba between 10-20-35 and more consecutive years.
Jan & Toos Baijer Bakels are residents of Zuid-Holland and have been honored as Goodwill Ambassadors for returning to our island for 23 consecutive years.
Ms. Darline de Cuba of the Aruba Tourism Authority together with Mr. Alfred Kaufmann and members of Amsterdam Manor attended the ceremony and handed out some presents to the honorees and thanked them for choosing Aruba as their home away from home for so many years.
The visitors stated that their main reasons for returning to Aruba are the lovely weather, the people of Aruba, and the Eagle Beach.
