All taxis operating at the airport are officially registered and authorized to queue for passengers, having fulfilled certain requirements and paid an annual fee for this privilege. Their registered entry card is used to enter the taxi stand at the airport. While you can pay for a private transfer from the airport to your hotel, it is not necessary as taxis are completely safe.
